About Wil

My name is Wil C. Prague and I love sports.  I decided to take my passion and turn it into a blog where I can write about the different sports that I watch.

I am by no means a professional journalist.  I’m actually a construction worker by day.  I am not married and I don’t have any kids yet, so I have plenty of free time to enjoy sports.  I just figured that I watch enough sports every night that I might as well express some of my thoughts on what is happening around each league.

I did graduate with a communications degree from the Texas back in 2010, but I’m originally from the Czech Republic.

My favorite sports are Lacrosse, American football, baseball, and basketball.  I’ll try to cover all of them as much as I can.

My favorite professional teams are the LA Lakers, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees.  In the college ranks I like to follow Kentucky basketball and Alabama football.

I grew up in an area where there wasn’t a local professional team, so I got to pick and choose who to follow.  Naturally the teams that got the most TV time drew my attention and I kind of got sucked in to following the best teams in each sport.  I’m with them through thick and thin now though, no band wagon hopping for me!

I hope that you find my content interesting.  I’m not going to try to post something every day, but I want to take my time and post quality stuff.  This might mean that I have something for you every week, but often times I will be waiting for a month or more before something really strikes me as worth writing about.

I always get excited about the beginning of each season, and I love see what Vegas thinks of each team.  I’ll probably post a lot of season win totals and odds to win championships, with my opinions on the teams that are over-rated and under-rated.

There isn’t a better time of year than the NCAA Tournament, but unfortunately our construction season starts at about the same time.  I always hope for a late winter and a delay to spring so I can sit around at home and soak up the action in every single game!  That doesn’t happen very often though.
