The live streamed games of the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships will have the play-by-play broadcasts commentated by Andy McNamara, announced tournament organizers. McNamara is the play-by-play commentator for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League, as well as being an accomplished broadcaster/sports writer for basketball, hockey, baseball, football, and vollebyall on television and radio in the Toronto area.
The upcoming event, May 21-28, is being held in the Czech Republic and will showcase eight national teams from across the globe over twenty-one matches, all of which are available online from the championship website. “I’m very excited and honoured to be included in this prestigious tournament. To get a chance to call the action of the very best lacrosse players in the world is something I am extremely proud of.‘‘ The award winning sportscaster McNamara continued, “The organizers have done a tremendous job putting all this together.
