Ireland enters its second World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Prague, looking to improve on its 8th place finish in 2007. The team will be relying on 10 returning players from Ireland’s inaugural appearance at the WILC. Head Coach Jeff Dowling will draw on his experience with the World Champion Team Canada staff in 2007, and will be relying heavily on assistant coaches Tom Howe (offense), Geoff Conn (video), and especially the most internationally experienced coach Dan Leidl (defense). The coaches made some tough choices this past October at training camp in Belfast, and will work with the players again in a four day pre-tournament training camp. more
