The most prestigious Canadian lacrosse trophy, the legendary Mann Cup, won the home team Peterborough Lakers. In the sixth match of the series they defeated New Westminster Salmonbellies 15 - 9 and gained the most important fourth victory. The sold out Memorial Centre in Peterborough with more than four thousand spectators can after three years celebrate again. more

Czech national lacrosse team is heading for a first important test during their effort to prepare for the third World indoor lacrosse championship 2011, which will take place in Prague. At the end of September and beginning of October the Team Czech will play at Radotín Cup. more

The world indoor lacrosse championship WILC 2011 which will be for the first time held in the Czech Republic in May 2011 is slowly approaching. 9.6.2010 Wild At Heart (of Europe)

For the very first time, national indoor lacrosse teams will convene in a “new lacrosse” country, although lacrosse has been played in the Czech Republic since 1980s. This will be a great opportunity to spread lacrosse awareness both in the Czech Republic and Europe. The Czech Republic has vast experience in organizing international lacrosse events. Apart from already well known field Prague Cup and box Aleš Hřebeský Memorial, which both attract many lacrosse teams and fans from Europe as well as overseas every year, local lacrosse devotees organized the very first European Championship in 1995, European Championship in 2004 and Women’s Lacrosse World Cup in 2009. more
