Team USA dismantled Australia 28-2 in their quarter-final clash earlier this morning, the win sending them into Friday’s (10AM ET) semi-final against WILC favourites Canada, a country they’ve never beaten at the tournament.
Paul Rabil had 6-goals in the win over the hard working boys from OZ, the Americans bouncing back after their disappointing loss to the Iroquois Nationals earlier this week. In the tournament’s consolation two game series between Ireland and exhibition entry Slovakia, the Irish took Game 1 10-5, Kevin Owens and Brian Gillis both picking up a hat-trick in Ireland’s first-ever W at the WILC. England and the Czech Republic are minutes away from their quarter-final game, the winner playing the Iroquois Nats on Friday (1PM ET). Check back later today for more post-game coverage from Craig Rybczynski, reporting live from Prague all tournament.
